Ya this is a pic of two tomato plants with wire around them they are larger now to the top of the wire.@chickadoodles crazy about the mockingbird, I never would have guessed one would have tried to build a nest in a tomato plant. Your tomato must have been impressively thick and bushy.

We have buzzards that try to eat our calfs when they are born, and they tried to court our turkey I think. When they realized we had turkey we would wake up and have 200+ in our pastures.
My poor turkey were scared to death. We do have all kinds of birds. The squirrels are birds are eating us out of everything we are trying to grow. It is so frustrating.
I feel for you on the birds that eat more than seeds!
