The Victorio is a wonderful machine. It spits out the seeds and skins out one end and deposits juice and puree out another. Even more sweet is that an option is a motor to operate the whole thing, so no cranking. It also comes with accessories that allows for making salsa, juicing grapes, pureeing pumpkins. No seeds and no backaches.
I do not parboil tomatoes to slip the skins. I wash the tomatoes first, then take the stem's "navel" off and slice the tomatoes into chunks. The tomatoes I use are San Marzano, Roma, Heinz 57. (We LOVE sauce)
Unfortunately, no "Chunks" setting for tomato texture.
