Mother nature has not been kind to us so far this year. First we got way too much rain then no rain at all for almost three months. My tomatoes first almost rotted then withered.....I have slowly grown to hate Texas weather.


Speaking of NNTs, my wife neglected to inform me the hatching eggs I paid for had some naked neck eggs mixed in until after I had aready received them........

I don't know if I will love them or not.......but so far they seem to be quite a hearty breed.

SCG, haven't you said you like them because killing them and plucking them is easier? I'd think that would more than make up for having to get used to looking at them!

That's why I like the roosters. The hens are just sweet.

They aren't obnoxious, they're good layers. They can be good mothers if they choose to sit.

@Bunnylady great info, cabbage luper is the one I most hate, don't like them, even if they don't harm the heart of the cabbage or cauliflower they leave a lot of green poop....

@microchick IMHO grilled green tomatoes taste like fried as far as the sour odd flavor. They were OK, but I'm not a huge fan of fried green tomatoes either. I'll eat them but prefer zukes and squash.

Why am I suddenly getting a message about "The rich text editor is not compatible with your browser, etc."? Until just a few minutes ago, Google Chrome was perfectly compatible with the rich text format?

got it too and I'm running chrome and W7

Edited to add apparently at some point I've updated to W10 and didn't notice.
