So I got about as much done loading the moving truck today as I anticipated. All the heavy bulky furniture except my computer desk (holding up my keyboard and monitors at the moment), the dining room table and my recliner. Two bedrooms and one bath completely empty. Kitchen just about empty... still have my Tea kettle and some last few items. Most everything is boxed. Suitcase basically packed with what I'll need during the move. Done for the day. Tomorrow will basically finish emptying the house and start on the garage. Closing here is Thursday, look like 2pm. Hitting the road most likely Friday night or Saturday morning. Not entirely sure yet.

Oh, it's just wonderful!!! Congratulations. I hope things move along for you - such a frustrating process, especially when you are already going to be out of the house you are in now and would really like to get in and get settled.

On a side note... Have any of you raised dragonfly larvae in the house? I have a bunch of them that were laid in one of my water tubs and I need to do something with them so that they don't freeze to death this winter... In a pond they would be fine, but the tub that they are in is too exposed and gets air on all sides and half the bottom so it freezes completely solid several times a winter....

i bet you could raise them in an aquarium  it would be a very interesting progect for sure.   they spend most their lives under water as hunters....   eating insects small fish and Mosquito larva.  they go through incomplete metamorpisis and stay as a nymph for most of their lives.

Id share a video but some here see only the Ikk factor.
Here is a link.of a fairly young nymph

and another of an  older nympyh looking more like a dragon fly

Looks like mine are pretty young according to these videos, they look a lot more like the first video than the 2nd one. I'm thinking quart jars in a larger tub, put a water pump in the large tub, then drip lines in each jar to slowly and constantly do water changes in each jar, as they get full, they overflow into the main tub, then it gets recycled back into the jars. Guess I finally found a use for my meal worms. Feeding these beasties.... I'm going to take them some tomorrow and see how they like them. They're pretty much out of food in that tub, already ate all the mosquitos swimming around...
