We have tons of halloween decorations we pulled from the overhead in the garage
once we get things placed I will take many photo's this is James and my
favorite holiday and his Birthday is the 30 th of the month

I don't have any skulls or anything like that - thank goodness.  But, I do have a collection of puppy teeth from the 70's  and I had  some dog bladder stones, in the a bottle in the fridge  but, somebody must have tossed that out.

That is SO COOL!!!!!

I had a little dead parrot in the freezer for years.... But we finally remembered to bury him.

All of this creepy talk must be contagious--I awoke to a bat flying around in my bedroom. I "collected" it wilt racket ball racket and now have to drop it off at Animal Control to have it tested for rabies--I hope I do not have to get shots now.....

But supposedly the rabies shots are no longer as bad as they used to be.

Yes!

It was rattling the mini blinds at about 4 in the morning. I tuned the light on in the head board and it flew circles around it. I used the racket because it has holes in it--bats avoid things using echo location(sonar).

It was not a nice way to wake up...and bats are the number one vector of infection for rabies.

The general recommendations are if you're with bat and not cognizant (ie child, mentally retarded, drunk, asleep) you get immune globulin and the shots (4 within a 2 week period)... unless you can get the bat and get it tested and it comes back negative. Now you just have to wait for the results.

Just a friendly public health announcement from your not so friendly old folks home pharmacist.
