The Old Folks Home

I really like these..and of course the good ol reg. mouse trap..where the chickens can't get to them.

They can get in, but they can't get out. We've caught 5 in there at once.
I'm a bit behind...very glad to see these work that well. We have these too but haven't caught anything...yet.
LOVE that it has the window, no guessing if something's in there.
For those asking about the mice...open it over a 5 gallon pail or a garbage can. Take care of the mice from there.

Or...call the cat over.
Just caught the 3rd skunk within the last two weeks.

I hadn't even rinsed the trap from the last skunk so I was a bit surprised until I dumped it out.
I guess I'd thrown one of the rats I trapped into this trap.
Also trapped a rat in the coop. I'd plugged all the holes but this joker tunneled up from the floor.
I'm hoping he was the only one. I'll see tomorrow.

Very glad to hear your news Cynthia!!!

We were drinking Folgers but switched to Maxwell house when Folgers wasn't being stocked.
I find Maxwell house easier on my stomach. I have never been to Starbucks...yet. Lol.

My dad passed in 07. He was a true blue die hard fan of the Cubbies. I wish they could have done this while he was still alive but somehow I think he knows and is cheering along with the citizens of Chicago this morning.

A high school friend and her father were also die hard fans. I can remember her dad watching the latest game on TV with a Transistor Radio pressed to his ear as he listened to play by play on WGN radio. Her dad loaded all us kids in their car and took us up to Chicago to see the Cubs get beat by the Mets. It was all in all a fun day.

Good job, Cubbies!
