The coop is shaping up. The posts in back are too tall, but they will be cut down to size at the proper angle when we go to put the roof on it.

Cupman- Don't get me wrong, I love kids, and I join in with some of the silly threads for fun (RIGHT, Bunnylady?

) I just wanted a place to come for something different. Please feel free to join us "old folks" here if you are looking for mature discussions. I can tell from your post that you are quite capable of that! I have the same issue when we take a vacation. I have to find someone to "birdy sit" and though I have wonderful neighbors who help, I realize it is alot to ask. This summer, I rehomed 24 birds in the two weeks prior to vacation to make it easier for the sitter. I gave away 24 keets that I would have loved to have kept. It was just too much, in my opinion, to ask of a non-bird person.

then add if say you own other livestock a concept of a vacation is a unknown thing!

The chickadees with the small silver topper (not the bell) are by far my favorite, I've got quite a few of those style on my tree.
