Cynthia12, I love your goldies. Our oldest dog is 12 and will be 13 this year. She is mostly, like 90% Border Collie but there is just a touch of Golden in her. You can tell by her coat mainly, even though she is solid black, if you look closely at her feet. she has faint gold mottling on her lower legs. She is our buddy. When DH goes out to fly an RC plane, she is with him, when I go fishing, she is with me. Yesterday we were in the timber taking a walk and she found a possum. It was a good sized varmint and she did her best to kill it. It kept playing possum all the while she chomped on it. I don't think it survived the attack but she hates varmints on her turf. I cherish every day we have with this dear soul.
