The Old Folks Home

I believe the time change helps with the kids..catching the bus...walking to school. They aren't out in the dark.
Time change doesn't bother me.

That's how they promoted the change here. Poor kids in the dark, low visibility, so it was harder for drivers to see them, etc. I have to reset the microwave clock, and my bedroom clock, but all my other devices with clocks reset themselves.

I have to reset 3 clock radios, the microwave clock, the stove clock, one watch, 3 battery operated clocks. Used to have digital timers that changed time back or forward with just one touch of button - of course they all broke down. Had to go with manual - its a pain, so I don't bother to set them - they are just for plants - either way they get the required # of hours.

The computer clock is the only one that resets the time automatically.

I am a clock person!! I have clocks! My DH and I are going around and setting clocks to the right time in every room..I have several in my living room. Love them!

I feel for all of us. Penny I am 4'11" if I didn't shrink more in my sleep. I can't reach the smoke alarms and am afraid of heights - even low heights. Plus oldies like me have to take all precautions against falling. I have to wait till my son comes for a visit and nag him to change the batteries. He got wise and got a couple 10 year battery kinds. But I still have two that need to be tended to. I noticed Consumer Reports said they do not last 10 years, more like 7.

You can't trust anything.

Funny though when I am out walking/shopping and ask someone if they have the time. They say they don't wear a watch, and have to drag out their cell phone to find out the time.

We have a lot of rooms with analog clocks between two houses.

We love clocks too!

We still love our 8 tracks so yeah...I'm the only one that has anything remotely digital. The guys won't have any of it.

Dont forget clock change is when you're supposed to change the batteries in your smoke detectors too
What smoke detectors??

It's like lightbulbs...they say 5 years for a life span but only rated at so much time per day...

I had to stop wearing my watches while I'm irritated on my wrist with this sensitivity from the tablecloth (I strongly suspect) I miss my watch. I just bought a new one with a cool mirror face from Avon. It's digital...(insert evil laugh)

Watches and rings, those are my things.

(I'm a poet and I didn't know it)

I dislike having to pull out my phone to check the time.
