I can't wear watches of any material so I get the clip ons when Kohls has them for $ 10. or so. usually Xmas. In fact I have a spare waiting in the wings BUT, of course I can't remember where I put it. The sales lady says if I pull OUT the button to change time. It will keep the battery from wearing till I plan to use it.

Also can't wear necklaces, earrings, rings, ankle bracelets etc. they can be metal, leather, plastic, mesh, anything - my skin has a fit. It also won't tolerate belts. In fact if I draw a line
with my finger (no nails- I bite them) around my neck, in seconds it will show up as bright red. The doctor said "skin writing," - and apparently other people had/have it too.

That is how I knew the time change had happened growing up.

My mom ALWAYS forgot (at least that is what it felt like).

So....once a year we showed up for church an hour too early and had to wait around.....

And once a year we showed up too late, and my mom tried to frantically remember which church in town started an hour later than ours....we drove about town, driving up to churches to see people leaving....and after an hour we would just give up. :lau

We have a lot of rooms with analog clocks between two houses.

We love clocks too!

We still love our 8 tracks so yeah...I'm the only one that has anything remotely digital. The guys won't have any of it.

Dont forget clock change is when you're supposed to change the batteries in your smoke detectors too
What smoke detectors??

We do have 3 in the house

Awwww heck....you know I'm just joking...

I feel for all of us. Penny I am 4'11" if I didn't shrink more in my sleep. I can't reach the smoke alarms and am afraid of heights - even low heights. Plus oldies like me have to take all precautions against falling. I have to wait till my son comes for a visit and nag him to change the batteries. He got wise and got a couple 10 year battery kinds. But I still have two that need to be tended to. I noticed Consumer Reports said they do not last 10 years, more like 7.

You can't trust anything.

Funny though when I am out walking/shopping and ask someone if they have the time. They say they don't wear a watch, and have to drag out their cell phone to find out the time.

okay Diva was 5'1 and in deep dodo as I am just 56 shrinking already

It's like lightbulbs...they say 5 years for a life span but only rated at so much time per day...

I had to stop wearing my watches while I'm irritated on my wrist with this sensitivity from the tablecloth (I strongly suspect) I miss my watch. I just bought a new one with a cool mirror face from Avon. It's digital...(insert evil laugh)

The one time I forgot, I wound up showing up for church service an hour late. Not too bad a deal really....missed out on most of the boring stuff.
