The Old Folks Home

I looked around, ebay has some sturdy ones too. Some are not too bad price wise.

Kids still alive this morning, and looking good. The heating pads are just what we needed.
Good job

My wire arrived! Of course, it's raining today.....
That is great news!

I hope you can install it in time.

Amazon(or associates) has been using shipping partners when shipping to USPS. One of them is Dynamix. The shipping partner tells USPS that a shipment is coming and then the partner ships to the USPS closest to you. Tracking is through the partner until it gets to your local USPS.

That makes USPS tracing say something about being informed by a shipping partner that a shipment is expected. I hate it!

@Superchemicalgirl, isn't your spirit longing to live somewhere where the predominate color over winter isn't unrelenting white?

Here in MO it's mainly shades of brown and grey with sporadic patches of blue sky over winter but I'm even getting sick of that! I told DH today that I wish we had retired somewhere with even milder winters and he said 'like Arkansas?' Hmmmm, still brown and grey over winter but they have rocks there and I LOVE rocks!

It has been a trying day for Miss Maddy. Today was her allergy test and, again her skin reacted to literally everything.

She was very brave. Though by the end of it she had had quite enough, poor baby.

Then, since the test was a wash, they sent her to the hospital to have blood drawn for an EGE test.

When she got home I made her a cup of lemon tea and she piled up on the couch with me and we binge watched Descendants.

My Oldest daughter reacted that way. She was took allergy shots for three years and is now much better.

She just doesn't want to be allergic to peanut butter or catfish. Those are two things she ate the week the hives appeared. She had eaten both before with no effect, but who knows.
