The Old Folks Home

oh I agree I was great driver all those years they took my license
as I am mostly legally blind now I have graves disease but still think I
could drive better than allot on the many on the road

I'll agree some need to go to school and learn how to drive!!
I have been lucky over the years I have seen some bad accidents but thank God I haven't had one that was my fault

Microchick, volcanoes are cool! :ya

Years back when I lived in Texas, there was ice one winter....I remember the news played a clip of drivers in Dallas verses drivers in Chicago. :lau

The ones in Dallas kept sliding off of the road...incapable of stopping...pretty funny.

I think the issues with the SUVs sliding off of the roads in the south are the tires. Down south you have these summer tires that are like grease when on ice.

Tires are crucial.

when it snows at my place.... I stay home. It'll be gone the next day..

Alaskan plenty of jerks in Chicago and suburbs speeding and slipping and sliding all over on icy /snowy roads. When I used to walk I was scared too death they'd knock me down when I crossed at the light, because weren't able to stop. Okay in great weather they wouldn't stop anyway.

This was in virginia !!

Alaskan I know your right about the tiers here in the south. I bought a car many years ago from a dealership in Montgomery. Everytime it rained my car would not stay in my lane.
I had to go buy tires that threw the rain out from under the car. Sounds crazy but if that much is due to just rain it ought to make you wonder about snow. :/

You try to avoid lunatic drivers like New York, Atlanta, Miami, Atlanta, and California!!

I've never been to the 'big city'.
Been down through some cities going to Florida many times. Thought it was funny, down Orlando area, it was like playing a video game never knowing what the other drivers were going to do next and the only vehicles I seen use a turn signal had NY plates Lol!
