. Thanks for the caring and the confirmation of what I guessed. Since there are no rashes, blowing up like a parade balloon, etc. I wasn't too concerned. Long experience with allergic reactions to lots of things so I kind of know the signs. Since I've been knocked out more times than I ever wanted and never had a problem before I can only assume they used something possibly new. I plan on making a call on Monday and get the name so I can add it to my, rather long, allergy list.

Good luck with your baby avocado plant! I grew one like that, it got 3 feet tall and got 6 leaves... that's all it did, no branches, no anything but 6 leaves... lol Then my cat decided to use the pot for a litter box and killed it...

@chickisoup. Do you have any Singulair? That works almost better then Benadryl for allergic reactions.

Sorry, I fell a bit behind. I was out since after breakfast spring cleaning the coop

I will say that my deep litter method bedding worked great over the winter months. Under the coop where the litter was almost a foot deep, it was find dirt half way down. Not bad for being on a concrete floor. Guess I'll go the same method over the winter months. next year.

I just came back in putting stronger post's and a few new ones
for chicken safety, cleaning the coop... snow had not been allowed
the run of the land alone since her tag games with the birds
brought her, our gsd Fear and my lab Moose, no chickens harassed

Yes I sure do. We bought this cheap and it came with 3 sides to cover and for Alabama I think they will be fine. Out of the wind and rain and in the shade. We are still deciding on weather or not to add more shade for them as it get's hotter. We built that wood frame a couple years ago and had to add some new posts to it today. But I think it will work.
I'm still deciding if I want to give them a small run in the shade and sun to let them eat grass.
