The Old Folks Home

I have to say dirty dishes in the sink drive me nuts sooooo they never stay there long. We do have a dishwasher in our house but since it is just the two of us, we hand wash dishes as we cook and as soon as we are done eating we hand wash the rest. The only time something will be in the sink overnight is if it needs to soak before scrubbing.

Sounds like us. Just the two of us here too.

Was wondering how the weather is for SCG...we were warm...then today rain, and is supposed to snow tonight. Wondering if it will happen, the sun has been out all afternoon once the rain stopped.
Is it warming up for everyone? Including Alaskan? Guessing you will have snow for a bit longer.

Hearing the lawn mowers going. You all were talking about dishes...that yard work is going to be the hard thing for me this yr. I am planting quite a few bushes to take up room in my flower bed. It's quite large. I will miss having so many flowers, but I just can't keep up any more with this crazy woozy head thing. And, we have a cat that comes and uses the bathroom in that bottom area of it. A lot. :( I know who's kitty it is. I'm hoping it won't ruin the new plants/bushes. I did plant a new one last yr..so far so good.

Still have lots of snow, but now also have areas where I can see grass. Or, what will eventually become grass. Ok, it's mud.

I learned embroidery this week and stitched a little bunny with an online stitch-along. I decided to make it into a pillow to "bring in the spring."

I have not been near as busy got a bit done but Brother came over he is a 18 month older
so I will 57 before he is 59 anyways with Ma passing there will gads of photos
odd but all of when we moved out here in 68 or the photo's from any early eras gone
almost as if when she and Wayne became one she dumped all of the life before
my Dads death book from mortuary the flag and discharge paper from service
is the only thing to survive just those 3 things... very odd

Cyn maybe you can spread some cayenne pepper or equivalent around your garden where the cats likes to dump. Of course you have to reapply after rain, and when it's real windy etc. I also do that every time the neighbors dog dumps a load. figure once they smell that, it doesn't seem like such a good place anymore.
