The Old Folks Home

My kids reported....

"You harshed my Chi" and "you are harshing my Chi" are things people say now.

Is this because I live in hippie ville? Or do other folks say that too?

Just asked DD#2 (edit, I put dw#2 again lol) as they went out to school bus. Called her name repeatedly.... I got "what do you want from my life?"
Hmmm!
But no, she's never heard that saying.

FYI, no discussion on the org, against byc rules. Just surprised to see this on their website.
Wait a minute! Had to recheck before I posted, yup their website, checked it out further, there's some comments....then I noticed the date...
Ha ha.
This was an April Fools joke done by them in 2013. Note the name of the Biologist in the article, Don Beleave as in don't believe.

BYC does pretty funny April fools joke every yr, definitely gets some people by the comments they post Lol!
I must have missed the one this yr.

Trust me, you wouldn't.
just popping in to say, "ditto".
The damage to my brain from undiagnosed Lymes when I was much younger (misdiagnosed as RA, mistake not discovered for over a decade) showed up on a scan my dr did a few years ago looking for a reason for an intermmitant tremor. Lymes rampant in northern WI for many years. One woman I knew totally disabled with joint pain and screaming migranes for years because of it. The hospice I did for a sweet neighbor was ultimately the result of Lymes acquired in the 90's.While the drs were still trying to figure out what was going on, he developed brain swelling, stroke, coma for over a week and woke up not knowing who anyone was and damage to the speech centers of the brain. All because of a missed tick dug in behind his ear.
So, if I could choose between meat allergy and the lifetime of joint pain, I'd gladly go vegan.
