The Old Folks Home

Reboot your modem definitely. I was having the same problem with BYC. All the attempts to log in sent me back to the 'old read only' site. We tried everything. Finally DH unplugged the modem and rebooted it. Seems as though it was saving the old IP addresses and deferring back to it. No more problems.

I set 20, because that's what my Rcom 20 holds. I guess they don't realize eggs come by the dozen. Anyway, I breed, raise, and show my Black Australorps. I set eggs from my best rooster, and 3 hens.
All of them have taken at least first place at the APA sanctioned shows.

Yes, good ones are somewhat difficult to get. It took me 9 months to find a reputable breeder, and finally get my original breeding trio.

I'm a bit late for setting eggs down here, but I had to delay things because of buying our home, moving, and getting my coop(s) built, and ready.

I have to admit... I shook the can of sunflower seeds today and the clown car only released what I consider to be a smallish amount of chickens (aside: the clown car is what we now refer to as the coop - it's off the ground and all the chickens relax under it - it's literally a clown car, continually unloading chickens from its immense underspace).

I even said to BF - is this all the chickens we have? Seems like we should have more.

I mean, I'm sure it was like 50 birds or so, but it really didn't seem like that many birds.

BF did not respond to my musing.

We were out there because he built some "cheap seats" - outdoor stadium bench seating for biddies. Their old "sunsetter retractable awning" with attached roof roost was worse for the weather after a year outside. I'm sure the guys at the dump are going to be happy to see that feces covered wood arrive tomorrow.

Let me get this straight. You put in an awning for shade, and stadium bench seating for your chickens.
I've heard of "chicken tv" when humans watch their chickens, but this is the first time I've heard of "human tv", for chickens. Please explain what you are doing to entertain them?
