The Old Folks Home

I got Faith, Hope and Lucky to hold still long enough to get their picture tonight. I wasn't having much luck until I took the first picture and the flash froze them where they stood. Lucky, the little white chick is now 3.5 weeks old. Faith and Hope as far as I can guess, are somewhere around 6wks. They are very flighty but friendly. Compared to my mutt OEGB/Cochin/Sumatra mixes (I still can't figure out where an Amish farmer got his hands on Sumatras but I swear some of my birds that I got from him are OEGB/Sumatra crosses) they are about half their size. My Avatar hen, Little Dove, pretty well is an example of how big my bantams are.She dwarfs these little girls.

My husband thinks we should rename Lucky, Hawk due to it's profile. So what do y'all think I have as far as breed and color are concerned?

Then I was able to catch momma robin away from her nest and here is one of her three day old babies. The other two were sound asleep and one had it's head draped over the side of the nest. It looked melted but was very much alive. The temps here today were between 92 and 95 degrees so I felt pretty melted myself, LOL

Awww. Cute pics!

I told him what you suggested, and he laughed. The place they are holding the concert, has seating for 18,900 people. I'm having a very hard time wrapping my head around the fact that 18,900 people are willing to spend $600.00 per ticket, to hear Pink Floyd perform. What I want to know is, where all those people are getting that much money to throw away on something that's not a necessity.

There is nothing I don't like about their music....
