I googled frizzle guineas and this is the only thing I came across.

I'll watch for this and for what CapricornFarm mentioned and see how this goes. The keet isn't weak and certainly didn't appreciate any handling...lol.

Do you know if their's stayed like that?

These two are the only ones showing noticeably out of quite a few. I've also been checking for parasites and that has been negative across the board; adults chickens and these chicks. It's a different look for sure. The one keet I left with the hen has white tips on it's wings. It's a pearl and no other keet has that.

I don't know, it was a recent post, do a search on pinecone or pine cone.. guinea

Now i want my keets to be frizzled! Hope they arrive tomorrow, we are in for 90 degrees all week.

I will up my protein. My keets were started on 24% and are on 21% right now.

Ugh, the kittens are escaping from the bathroom! And when they can't get out they yell and scratch on the boxes! I love them, but until they are litter trained they need to be contained.

Especially since the 21% sure is high...but I guess just high for chickens...not keets.
