Guess this is one of those years where the cicadas emerge and make a racket. I hate that noise. Rather listen to the birds. I am hoping it will be a little cooler and less humid thanks to the rain today.

We hear crickets in Woodland, California but not cicadas

Cicadas seem to make the same sound my ringing ears make. So I'm never sure if I'm hearing them or not
