I believe you can put the fruit in a knee high stocking and then hang the stocking from the trellis to support the weight without limiting growth.
I hadn't thought of that...yeah, would be better than the slings I used.

Hey I thought I might share my latest wire weave project Made of Twelve gauge Eighteen gauge and twenty four gauge wire... the whole thing is approximately four inches in diameter

Its for hanging on the mirror of the car...

I really like it, but there is one thing that bothers me. Up near the top, the curlie cue is up from the main part of the piece and draws your eye up. I would like it better pulled down towards the main part of the piece so your eye goes back to center. Just my 2 cents, from one artist to another.
 
Anyone ever successfully get 'rid of' a skunk without getting sprayed?
Took one baby a few nights ago, other two the next night. Figured it'd leave the bigger juvies alone. Tried ripping the smallest one through the other run this morn.
Have a havahart trap set, hoping to somehow drown it in our pond with out needing a tomato bath :barnie
