This stuff will probably not survive to produce but i just like to see things growing. If i get enough shower doors maybe i will make mini green houses on my raised beds. That would keep varmints out!

Just went out and got all the chicks and put them in the coop. It is below 60 tonight and i worried they might get cold in that tractor with just a 60 watt bulb. I was cool in the house! What a job, had to trim the divider in the light of a flashlight and get the extension cord in through the nest box and put up a hook to hang lights from. Put up plywood over the door where there is a big area for ventilation if it is hot. Put food and water in. Put shavings down. Did you know the bags of shavings at TSC got smaller AND more expensive?

I get my shavings from a timberframer, or sawmill. They only use spruce and birch up here. .

free if you bag it yourself, costs money if you get it bagged. $5 for a big black trash bag full.

First day of school yesterday. Our youngest's first day kindergarten.
I work 2nd so I asked him this morn how his day went, asked what he had for lunch, few other easy questions. No answers....
Before they went out for the bus asked again, 'not telling you' ...
Mom says see dad I told you school turns them into buttholes, he's ruined just like the rest of them
