The Old Folks Home

First day of school yesterday. Our youngest's first day kindergarten.
I work 2nd so I asked him this morn how his day went, asked what he had for lunch, few other easy questions. No answers....
Before they went out for the bus asked again, 'not telling you' ...
Mom says see dad I told you school turns them into buttholes, he's ruined just like the rest of them :hit
Awwww...you're last one's first day. :love I'm always the geeky parent out their with the camera capturing the moment. :lau

It was the boy's first day back yesterday as well. When he first stated school I/we had a lunch and coffee with him to get his brain fired up for doing homework and we'd share what went on that day. We ended up being lucky. We still come in for coffee (when we're not in the fields) and we still discuss how our day went...lol. He tells us everything.:clap I got an earful yesterday when he switched me off...lol.

But it was strange because he drove himself for the first time. He can get home almost an hour earlier so he can help with harvest. It's nice he can drive but I feel like you Beer. It's a change that makes me feel a little lost and sad inside. The beginning of the end here, since this is his grade 12 year. *Sigh*

Ok, I need to know. What did he do to get grounded?

And quite possibly you'd ground me if you lived with me. I'm slightly scared of you.

I still feel like I haven't grown up, some days I'm just waiting for mom and dad to get home and yell at me about the mess in my room.

we grounded him because it was the
second time we found that he hadn't done his morning chores. He also hadn't been monitoring the bantams that he is supposed to take care of... one girl had a giant mud clump on her foot.
