The Old Folks Home

glad you about finished have not even started on the new main coop but having a ball getting new birds figuring out where to place them now that all barred rock leave as of tomorrow :bow
I still have two sides left to put siding on, and it need to assemble the run and put a top on it. And build more nest boxes, put up more perches. A builder's work is never done.

I am more than halfway done with the end of the coop, putting the siding on. The good news is i should have enough siding left to finish the side i am working on. I will go get another load Saturday.

I LOVE brand new clean coops!!!! :ya

I was hoping it really was like antlers and I could go out in the fall and find them rubbed off around a tree or something and use them to make some art.

I suspect it's not exactly as I'm imagining. Or hoping.

See... that is the entire problem. ..that they mention antlers...which we all know FALL OFF.

It would be cool though, to collect them and make crafts out of them.. .. ....like those Irish walking sticks made out of bull scrotums.

My coop is no longer clean inside, the guineas are on one side and the 24 chicks are on the other side. 20170920_123504.jpg
