You may be eligible for compensation. Some types of mesh have been recalled and or discontinued. If it hurts you need to get it checked out.
But what will they do to fix the hole again? And if you sue no Dr. Will ever touch you again right?

The hernia would be fixed by replacing with new better, we hope mesh. But what will they do to fix the hole again? And if you sue no Dr. Will ever touch you again right?

It sounds like a class action lawsuit is already going. I am in one for the air bag on my Honda Civic. I expect to get a check one day from it. I was in a class action law suit from our Dodge years ago. It was part of the "Manager drive home" program that Chrysler had going. The problem was that the odometer was turned back and the car was sold as new...
The point is that you are not suing a Dr. A group sued the mesh manufacturer
I think it is a class action against the manufacturer, not the doctor. As far as the repair, perhaps they use some of your ab muscles or a different type of mesh. I would discuss it with your doctor. No one can force you to fix it, but pain is your body telling you that something is wrong. But what will they do to fix the hole again? And if you sue no Dr. Will ever touch you again right?
Gee that sounds like a good idea! I never noticed if they have chili...but I'm going to make a point of looking next time I'm in there! We don't go there often, Wendy's. If we do I get the baked potato with sour cream and a chili, mix them together. Nice change from regular fast food. Hard to eat if your driving though![]()
I think that is a fallacy. You should look into it on the web. My husband had to have mesh replaced and he has been in contact with a lawyer. He still sees doctors.I thought if you sue over medical issues that you would never get a Dr. To treat you again though. I am having a lot of problems from this and a lot of Pain. But I don't want my Dr. Telling me he won't treat me anymore.

I find of late...any of the burgers at Wendy's or anywhere fight with me.View attachment 1147189

My husband was getting a hernia surgery redone. Surgeon said it was a simple surgery, 10 minutes tops. I waited and waited. Took a long time, more like an hour. Then after i took him home he kept passing out or getting dizzy. Turns out he was bleeding in his belly. He ended up in ICU!
Well it is likely a rare occurance. I think the doctor had a hard time getting the mesh out due to adhesions. It had been in there a very long time.Oh no! That would've been awful. Now I'm definitely going to be worrying.
I managed to remember to mention about Dh's pulmonary embolisms so they'll be giving him a shot and putting stockings on him. Dh hates any kind of shots or needles and is NOT looking forward to this.
I very much appreciate the head up.![]()
