The Old Folks Home

I like ducks from afar. I was given one and kept it for over a year and got it a gf. I even hatched a bunch. But it was to much for me to keep up with. They were sweet as could be and I found them a nice home with a large pond all to them selves.
Now I can enjoy the Canadian geese flying over head and watch them on the banks of all the catfish ponds. Right now a bunch have nests all over the pond banks. The farmers leave them alone.

If you can figure out what's making the humans near you migrate, PLEASE share the info here so we can all benefit from it! :duc:oops: Oh... hummers... thought (read) humans... danged old eyes... So what's a hummer (as used in your sentence)?
Humming birds.

I like hatching ducks...and then sending them to a new home!

My husband was getting a hernia surgery redone. Surgeon said it was a simple surgery, 10 minutes tops. I waited and waited. Took a long time, more like an hour. Then after i took him home he kept passing out or getting dizzy. Turns out he was bleeding in his belly. He ended up in ICU!
I had a long post last night, didn't get to posting it, kinda cool how the new format saves them, I deleted most of it, bunch of blah blah blah...
Hope your husband is OK.
I didn't have the hiatal, just the ole, guts go in the nut sack hernia, I think the hiatal is worse? Was yrs ago, when I was 18-19, ended up being a double repair. Not sure if I got the mesh, couldn't understand anything the doc said, was Pakistani or India'.n or something? Why they had to cut so big to repair so little of a injury IDK? Hopefully they're better at it now. Hurt for yrs, amazing how much you rely on your stomach muscles for everyday life. Haven't felt it in yrs now so I guess I'm OK.

Those hummingbirds can sure fly fast! I love watching them zoom around. We had a pair that was always chasing others off. Thinking i should take the feeder down but maybe we will get migrants from further north? I need to clean out the regular bird feeder, no birds ever came to it and the seed sprouted!
