The Old Folks Home

Sooooo......safe to say that you got your exercise for the day. Right?;)

I found this site last year and use it a lot. If you have ever been a victim of a plant nursery, it's great to have this knowledge.

If you have been stung by say Burgess, they own several other seed companies so as the saying goes, caveat emptor.

I was able to take heart then baker creek heirloom seed is owned by Baker creek heirloom seed

I am on Medi Cal and Californias version of Affordable health care The care provider that works with MediCal is CareFirst. Anything out of program has to get approved which can take about ten days. Not too bad considering.

The deal is I am almost 400 pounds now. Fortunately in program there are facilities that can work with me. I do have to drive a bit to get there and wait for an opening...

So My MRI is going to be in a specialist facility in Hillcrest... an older part of town. filled with one way streets. The Biopsy is in Logan Hieghts within program but the Womens clinic again is in a very old part of town a bunch of wearhouses and adjacent to the Homeless encampment... Downtown.

After going through these tests I will have to wait for another "specialist" appointment approval.... I am supposing that the diagnosis and a plan will come from him/her.

The original pap test showed very abnormal cells. So the biopsy will examine endometrial tissue... The Sonagram was interfered with by what they say is my weight....

As it is I may have to forego the MRI.... I forgot about the screws in my knee. I will call them to find out. I believe they are titanium... The doctor that fixed my knee did his MRI through the same company and his records are on file.

LOng story short the answer could come in two weeks. OR another month... Mean while I am running on about three watts of power out of 75... things are going on because of this issue I wont share here.

I hope it gets worked out for you soon!

oatmeal chocolate chip cookies maybe today.

anyway you could smash those through the Internet lines??? I LOVE oatmeal cookies!! Add chocolate chips and just :drool !!! :ya

Growing up my Grandma (who was a surgery nurse before she married) always made me oatmeal cookies. .. she said since oatmeal was GOOD for you, you could eat more and not feel bad about it. Health food you see. :old

Putting off the cookies till tomorrow. DH has to have PDT therapy on his skin on Monday. It's a photo dynamic treatment for pre cancerous lesions on his face. He has to have a treatment a month for three months. In between time he heals. Thought his favorite (oatmeal raisin) would be good comfort food for him and the chocolate chip variety won't hurt me none either.;)

I an sure sympathize with everyone having health challenges. This seems to be the year of the doctor for us. Or as a friend told me once, my social calendar is full.....of doctor's appointments. If I'd known I was going to be seeing so many doctors, in my 60s I'd have taken better care of myself in my 40s....oh wait, I did....darn.:barnie
