They need it for their little mini jaccuzi! No really, I just need to heat it up enough to keep it from freezing. I doubt it will actually be hot. Warm maybe.

Cool I have the aquarium heaters but we may only use them a week out of the year

Keep track of the temp in it, for a few days. I saw someone on one of the survival shows use this exact method, but with a water tank, so they could take hot showers in winter. It worked good, but would probably be much warmer than what you need just to keep ice out of your water buckets.
