The Old Folks Home

It's raining, and the wind is blowing hard, but it's fairly warm. It's suppose to drop down to 52 tonight, but down to 32 tomorrow night. I've got all the tarps up on the coop.

:gigWe call weather like you are having early Spring here. Chickens do fine and it never gets cold enough to freeze the water bowl or crystallize the Oranges

It is an odd year though. If I might have to pull my jade pant in if I hear about temps getting down to 25 outside

Not snowing here, yet. We got downgraded last night from the red alert to the orange one.

My new spigot is working out great, so last night we decided to break the outdoor electrical outlet for the heated waterers.

The look of disappointment on the ducks faces was amazing this morning when they discovered their water had frozen solid.
Silly Ducks!

Did you get a blow torch our to thaw the water?

When does the electrician get there?

My jade plant is already in the living room and the cats are enjoying trimming it.;)

My Jade plant has been on the front porch for about 10 years. You never know though...This might be the year when I have to bring it in

I brought this one up from Florida with a desert rose that is not too happy.
The Jade plant was a present as a thank you from a co worker that I did some computer support work for. It is about 15 years old. The co worker retired and then died but the plant lives on.

For an outlet??
Oh right, @superchemicalgirl said she is all thumbs when it comes to that sort of thing.

You can do this SCG, just remember the black wire goes on the brass screw labeled "black" and the white wire goes on the silver screw labeled "white". And do connect the ground wire to the green ground screw.

I won't have thumbs to worry about if I do it myself.

Got the top of my outhouse quilt pieced today. Still gotta quilt it
