I bought a package of Danish the other day and some are cheese danish. Hubby loves those. I love the fruit ones.

as long as the power isn't out for toooo long. Then we will loose internet!

oh, I checked.... I think we have at least 3 hours of internet.... that will outlast my phone.

A charged phone is nice. having power is nicer. Glad that cheesecake didn't develop legs while the lights were out. I've heard that that sort of thing does occur on occasion...

I think @Latestarter might have something there. Dare I suggest that you and DD go to a counselor together? Maybe if you are straight up with her recognizing the common "emotional problem" (*) that you hadn't recognized in yourself she might be willing to go with you.

* for lack of a better term!

That would be very difficult since she's in FL. And I'm on Al.
But I will talk to her.

Yesterday we saw Star Wars, today I'm building window inserts for myself and the town.

Weekend plans:
Trekking out to the poultry swap meet with 4 leftover cockerels (Greenfire line Marans and Cuckoo Bluebars - free stocking stuffers as I just need them gone and they're too well-bred nice and small for freezer camp, hope I have some takers); finish wrapping/packing sendable gifts for trek to P.O. on Monday; Christmas cards; wrapping presents. Oh, and all that choreful stuff (laundry, vaccuuming, etc)
