The Old Folks Home

I think penny was trying to say that someone else had bred that dog... and penny rescued the fog.

'I understand she made a contract involving the dog fact is any dog can be of the highest breeding be put to sleep or in rescue from bad humans good sense evade them they are the lowest in my view I detest dogs being given up to suit a human

A week ago, we had 6" of snow on the ground (almost unheard of!) and were flirting with all-time record lows. One week later, 65° at 9:30 at night, and thunderstorms. I have a feeling this is going to be a crazy year.
It is already! I still have stuff growing in my garden.

Long day here. DH is studying to take the Ham radio test on Sunday. He has a lot of Army experience repairing radios and has retained an amazing amount of what they taught him plus what he learned on his own. I'm trying to read through the beginners book while he studies the advanced, more to understand what he is talking about and get some basic understanding of radios. He's trying to talk me into working for a Technician's Ham license. I dunno. I'm starting to feel like Kelly Bundy on Married With Children. The episode where they kept cramming sports trivia into her and every new thing she learned, she forgot some old lesson. Pretty soon she couldn't remember how to open the front door.:gig

My brains hurt.

Nothing like trying to cram a bunch of new material that you have never dealt with before into a 64.5 year old head. At least DH has been a good sport and stopped studying to explain something to me every time I say 'well this doesn't make any sense'. At least now I know why there aren't a lot of Ham radio operators around.

Here I thought learning nursing was a pain......:idunno

Sounds like me, my brother pumps all kinds of useless(to me) information of high tech nature that makes my mind spin. Today was 1 hr.29 minutes of it during his call while he is also watching Vanna White spin the wheel, and wants me to hear he guesses the puzzle first.

I get so discabooberated, I can't open the side door. I keep turning the key to lock it (already locked) then just want to kick it open :barnie
