Oh heck yeah, LOL.

Sorry to delay. Just got DH home from his last latest batch of skin cancer surgery. 23 more sutures and two new wounds to heal up. He's a trooper. Hopefully this is the last for this siege but we will know for sure when they let us know the biopsy report. One was a little more invasive than the other but hopefully they got it all with this surgery.

Other than that, at least it's been pretty nice outside. 44 degrees. I'm going to try to catch up a bit but I'm still studying for my Technicians license, doing double duty and wishing there were a few more hours in the day.

I did find out today that the Kirksville Orscheln's is getting chicks in the first week of March! Chickie Birds! Little fluffy butts of chirpdom!I really need more chickens like I need a spare leg growing out of my back but my state of mind really needs some babies around. Plus DH got a new thermostat for my arduino powered brooder lamp that he made for me and I'm dying to try it out.

Chicka I just backtracked and read about your daughter. I'm so sorry. It's so hard to wait when a loved one is in pain. I hope she is in good hands medically and they can get her put back together without too much intervention. Sending prayers and positive healing thoughts.

I'm exhausted from sitting and watching them cut on my husband and watching his face react to them working on him. I feel so helpless. I told him on the drive home that there were several times I just wanted to hug him, he looked so miserable.

When my DW goes in for operations, I wait in the waiting room. They have been things that require a sterile room though.

Update on my dd #1 Dr. said she has fractured T2-3-4 vertebrae and a blood clot in her brain. They are putting her on cumiden for the clot. And a neck and torso brace for 3 months. They will keep her at least 3 more days. The Dr. said she is delusional and it is likely from the blood clot. I am a basket case. Praying for healing.

Yes it is. I am just a basket of raw nerves. I might try to rent a car and have dd@2 drive me down to see her this weekend if I can afford it. I will call Enterprise tomorrow.
