I had dh go get some deli sandwiches and fast easy stuff to eat while the kitchen is under construction.
He had to stop by Marvin's to pick up a couple more things.
I got everything out of the kitchen
That was not in a cabinet. It's a lot!
When he gets back he going to start tearing out the sink and base cabinets. And cut out the rotten floor.
My stress level is in over drive.
But I keep reminding myself that it will be beautiful when he's done.
We will replace the wall cabinets this summer. Those he will take out to the shed to use. They were built for this kitchen. So they go across one whole wall. I will likely lose a lot of cabinet space when these come out. They each have three shelves and most new ones only have two.

May think about painting the kitchen it is pale yellow not unpleasant cabinets
are old solid wood not the pressboard of today.. don't think I want to strip the paint dark wood in kitchen does not appeal

We had to go without the kitchen for several weeks last summer. It was like camping and we washed dishes in the bathtub. Not easy on the old bones either

no probably not Richard installed a laundry sink in between the washer and the dryer
use to be in their basement in the old house rarely used

Dh is starting today and his ds #2 will be here in the morning to help.
I hope they get the most of it done before ds leaves. After it's put back together I want to ain't the walls. But that's another whole ordeal.
The guy that had this house moved here at up cheap tile board over slat board walls. So we have to year all that down and put up actual walls. I also told dh I need at least one plug one one side of the sink. For the dishwasher and coffee pot. There are only a couple and they are not even close to where I need one. Lol
So I will settle for one even though I need two.

Penny it's funny your talking about painting pale yellow. That is the color I picked.
That is why I picked the cream rugs and the yellow fabric for the curtains. I like the lemon meringue I saw at Marvin's but I want a off white or antique white trim.

Put my freakshows into lockdown today - hatch is supposed to be Monday, hoping for some Sunday so I can watch it.

Craptastic week here and I've got over a foot of snow to deal with tonight.

Our second storm this week was supposed to get another 16" missed us

We have not painted that it was there when we moved here only did my bathroom
the kitchen also has a wall paper on one wall we decided we could all live with it

we actually have sunshine according the the weather report Seattle gets the rain we do not

It's like who cares which bakery! A box of thin mints thrown in the freezer and forgotten until summer when the temp is 97 in the shade are worth their weight in gold!

Frozen thin mints are my favorite!
