It was just 'drippy' here all day. The sun came out briefly about 4 pm but i wish it would either fish or cut bait as far as raining is concerned. There is rain in the forecast every day here until next Thursday. I was hoping to have nicer temps and drier conditions so I could move the fledglings out to the grow out pen. Now it looks as though I'll be bringing the grow out pen inside for them.
I'm really glad to hear that you all in California are getting well needed rain. We really need it here also but Microchick needs sun and 65, also!
I always seem to start my plants way too early so that it's like 3 weeks before they are due to be set out temp wise and they are either blooming, running or looking really spindly. I purposefully waited till this week but boy did they sprout fast! Something like 4 days. My transplanted strawberries are looking good. It's just been so damp and chilly here that while the calendar is saying spring, the weather is saying.......not yet.
Cap I'd go to that swap meet no matter what the weather. You deserve a celebration.
