We officially have enough snow that the dog is level with me when she's outside and I'm doing the dishes.

Considering the lack of sleep last night I managed to get quite a bit done this afternoon. I moved the grow out coop from the shop to the hobby room, took down a shelf so I could slide it against the wall. Got it put back together and moved the 4+ week old SWD chicks into it. The 1 1/2 week olds went into the SWD's brooder where they immediately huddled in a corner with cuddle monkey and acted like it was the end of the world as they know it. The older chicks are happily digging around and trying to figure out the intricacies of a ramp and a real coop.

Our weather here has been wet and cold all day. Temp never made it out of the 30s. which is why the 4+week old chicks are in the grow out coop and the grow out coop is in our hobby room and not outside.

Cap, what animal is going to be blessed with the lean to? I have a pile of wood, a roll of hardware cloth, bags of nails and screws not to mention pneumatic nailers. Anytime you get bored and run out of projects there.........
