They are no uglier than the naked necks I have. It's just their heads that are odd. I have a few that are purple, 2 that are a light blue grey with white spots and 4 that are the regular jumbo pearl - black with white spots. Their feathers are gorgeous. The heads, not so much.

how very true mostly been around them at auction the screeching itself would drive me batty to the point I would not bring any home

I read where they tend to make less racket as they get older. Looking forward to that! Mine get into their hoop coop nearly every night.

My Mom's surgery went well. She will be spending the night and going home tomorrow.

I can't wait to hear if her legs are working again
