To be honest the guineas are not intelligent creatures. It takes 2 of us to get them back into the run, and they will panic run past an open gate door multiple times.

However, I find their antics mostly intriguing.

My Mom's Surgery was delayed today. She went in about half an hour ago--a bit before 2pm. It was supposed to start at 11.

I take the babies away to sell..... or grow out to eat.

The breeders are pets... their offspring are food or money. But they are so smart... and so sad when we take babies, that I
I often take the first set young and let them keep a few of the second set to raise until they are about half grown. ... then the moms are happy for the kids to go away....

Oh they are frustrating beyond belief but they are also hilarious buzzing around my run. We joke about guineas on a hot tin roof, but they get up there every night and sing us the song of their people before bed. Only occasionally does one have to throw rocks at them to stop the show.
