The Old Folks Home

It's more than just the exercise and work, Cap. I put myself on a very strict diet. Lots of scrambled egg whites, fresh fruit, veggies and broiled/baked chicken breasts and pork sirloin chops. I'm shooting for 1200 calories per day. Basically low carb low fat.

I hate it! My treats are Blue Bunny no sugar added fudge sickles and a bowl of coco puffs.

Did I say I HATE IT?
Diets suck and it tends to come back to haunt you...the weight that is.

I always "go" before leaving the house because the senior bus makes alot of pick ups and drop offs and it can be an hour or so before I get where I want to go.

My mother did that to me. She said to use a bathroom anytime you see one, because you might not find one when you need it. Thanks ma. My urologist said you can train yourself to go often etc.

He suggested not running into the house to go. But waiting first, and to extend the waiting time longer and longer as possible until it was no longer an immediate need. He was right.

I know it can be mental. I used to walk a great distance(just because I could) and as soon as I left the house I was sure I had to "go." No place to go but in bushes, etc. Sometimes people around so no deal. By the time I got where I was headed(3-4 hr. walk), I didn't feel the need anymore. That was because every store I passed had a restroom, so I calmed down and was fine.

Good morning OFH.
We did get the bed yesterday about 1pm.we had to rearrange nearly the whole house. To get the waterbed out of our room and into the junk room that was our spare room. Got all the junk out. Lol and the waterbed in.
Ds and his gf help move most everything. Dh too piles to bnb the shed and the guys took a bunch of old furniture to the burn pile. The delivery arrived and it took them about 45 min. To put the new bed together and show us how to operate the remote.
Dh loves the message button. Lol I had to buy a new cabinet to put all dh's stuff in that came out of the waterbed drawers. Good thing I did. We ds barely got it out together before the bed got here. We are not going to fill the waterbed matress. We will look for an air bed matress to go in it.
I slept so good in the new bed! Wow it was worth all the hard work getting it all done!
We took ds and gf out to supper last night to a mexican restaurant we had never been to.
Wow they have great food!

Micro I used to put a small block of wood under the food and water for our chicks so the could jump on it to eat but it kept them from filling it with shavings then I stepped it up to a 2x4 as they got a bit bigger. That way they did not go without food or water.

Group hug :hugs:hugs:hugs
