OESDOG do the dogs still respect your husband after seeing him nekkid in the shower??
He wasn't - He cheated and had his swimmers on! The dogs ador him soooo much ! So does the cat they all lay on him whenever they get a chance!

I will post pics once I figure how to get them off the camera ?

Oes - I am 82 posts behind since last night? Darn

My hubby used to take the dogs into the shower with him, too. We had one that would try to dry your feet off for you - no thanks, pup, the feet have just been cleaned, don't need eau de dog breath to start them smelling again.

SCG you need to stop kissing strangers!

Just sayin'... Hope it isn't mono.
I know, right? I rarely come into contact with other people's saliva. Just sayin'. Oh and BF just announced that he "feels funny"

When I was on my worst day of my sore throat, I called my cousin who is an MD and made him make a house call because I was too sick to move (the only day I took off work with it) he took one look at my throat and gave me 100mg Demerol IM.

That took care of it for 4 hours.

That was Friday. By monday I was still spiking 101 fevers then have sweats but was able to drag my butt into work.

It took 2 weeks for the fevers to stop. My liver was palpable 5 cm below my ribs and my enzymes took a year to normalize.

I'm hoping for an odd case of strep, then. That sounds absolutely miserable.

Sad but true - I was snapping photos of my mouth today and sending them to MDs (and a few PharmDs) that I know (I'm sure they really appreciated it). The general consensus was to go to the ER or to urgent care so that's where I drug my butt off to, even though I didn't want to get out of bed. I could barely walk yesterday, getting in and out of the tub to soak my sore self (and to wash off the copious sweat) was difficult. I was so arthritic I couldn't bend or straighten well and walked around ape-like. Today I'm noticeably less arthritic except in my neck and shoulders. I can barely turn my head, though.

None of my MD friends offered me Demerol. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have turned that down today and I'm deathly afraid of needles. I've resorted to spitting instead of swallowing saliva to reduce throat movements. It's really cute, I think. Maybe I'll continue that after I get better.

I also did a little bit of butt peeking today in the coop at bedtime - only had the energy to look at 2 butts and I saw no mites. It's not a large sample and I didn't take my time digging around back there but I'm now optimistic about the FrontLine treatment I did on Monday. Obviously when I'm feeling better I'll be doing a much more thorough inspection for real results, and another treatment in 3-4 weeks if it was successful.

Quote: SCG-- I sure hope you don't have mono!!

Mono. One of the worst years in my life. OVer the 3 weeks of Christmas break I lost a lot of weight, throat so painful I couldn't eat. And eventually couldn't drink either. I knew I was in trouble . . . dehydration. In the ER no one could hit a vein to get a line started for fluids. I didn't care by that point. 5 days in the hospital. FIVE!! Later I was told the doc was concerned because my throat was closing with all the swelling. ANd my liver was huge. A year later I was fine-- but it really took a year.

So I really, really really hope you do not have mono!!

Look at those breast feathers! You got all dark eggs from me, right? If I remember that correctly, her mom was a BCM and her dad must have been my EE roo named Darty. I'll be dang if she doesen't look like she has some laced Wyandotte in her. She's a pretty bird and I'm not surprised she is a sweety. Bad tempered birds don't get to live here long enough to reproduce. Well, except for when they are old and grumpy like Coco and Gracie. I would love to see her egg color, do you know what it is or have a pic? I bet it is light olive.
