Bad tempered birds don't get to live here long enough to reproduce. Well, except for when they are old and grumpy like Coco and Gracie. I would love to see her egg color, do you know what it is or have a pic? I bet it is light olive.

I will find out for you.

I really like her partridge or Crele pattern and Dark eyes. Quite striking.
Amy said all three lay Brown eggs. This one lays Dark Spekled eggs, like a Wellie.

Your EE must have a single Blue egg shell gene.

I had one Wellie hen at the time. She may be a Welsummer/BCM or Welsummer/EE. Her eggs were pretty dark....... I don't have that roo any more. He martyred himself to a wolf, as did the BCM roo about two months after I shipped all those eggs. I had a coyote taking birds but my neighbor took the coyote (with a rifle.)

Amy is going to cross her with a Cream Legbar to make EEs. They should make some great Olive egg layers.

I recouped some of the cost of the previously-owned Quest I bought by selling my RAV4 to the Quest's seller. He came out today with a cousin, riding in a pick-up with a trailer, but chose to drive it away, even though I warned its automatic transmission would not go into third gear. Got much more than I would have gotten had I junked it. This would NOT have happened had John not schmoozed the guy on the test drive whilst I was in the bank withdrawing cash to buy the Quest.

I spent two days cleaning out my Trash Mobile - I mean my RAV4 - to get it ready for the buyer. Found some amazing "lost" items and a slew of spare change coins. Plus a few zillion ball-point pens, many of which still write!

John removed the nest box unit from the wall earlier this afternoon and I'll shove it into the back of the Quest to take it over to the new coop tomorrow. I've got a bag o' feed in the Quest now, so tomorrow I'll be almost all set up to populate the coop.

I warned several of the boys about their upcoming rides to the Ranch.

SCG...noo mono! I have also had it. Man that was hard to beat. I had the fever, the horrible sore throat, throwing up nice green stomach fluid. The ER dr. almost admitted me I had such a bad case, but this was when I was a single mom, and only had "the" medical card for ins. My boyfriend at the time was sweet enough to come around often to help, as I had two children at the time. I could hardly stand. I did get put on some anti -bitotics.

oz, cute goat. :) Can they do this? My daughter posted some photos of these on fb..when I saw your goat, I thought I would share. Unbelievable!

Geez, I could never have goats like that, they're giving me a heart attack from just looking at the pictures. Tell them to get down from there!! They could break their necks.
