Here you can carry concealed on your own property in the county without a permitt.... But better not step over your property line. You can carry in a holster most places but it cannot be loaded.

In town.... That would be UM a big NO.

I probably could get a permitt ... because of My proximity to the Border... Appx 2 miles. Incidents have dropped dramatically since the local Border wall went up about twenty years ago... We still get foot traffic through .... But it seems to be just people that are looking for a better life...

People ask me Arent You afraid living there alone... I always say I am more afraid of the Locals than the Illegals...

I started some of those Sakurajima giant radishes that get the size of pumpkins, could send you one if you want
Plan on pickling some and then feeding the rest to the birds.

Actually there's something wrong with me, I love trying to grow giant things. I tried the giant watermelons a few times (don't know why I thought I could grow those as I can't even grow the regular sized ones), giant cabbages, and I'm still trying giant pumpkins/squash. So I might not eat it, but it would be fun to grow.
Even in band I didn't just play the clarinet or sax, I played the baritone clarinet and bari sax. I didn't just play the bass guitar, I also played the giant upright string base. Also played euphonium. Surprisingly I also played piccolo. I think I just like extremes.

My state voted in 2015 to stop the concealed weapons permit process. Provided you're of age and not on the list of who can't have a weapon, anyone can conceal carry. The state still issues permits, and I still renew mine just in case, but they're worthless.

About to go take the dog for a walk and I will have my concealed carry gun on me. We definitely have bobcats and bears, but I am way more concerned about running into bad people, on drugs or not.

I got more radishes in my CSA this week. I ate 3 of them. They weren't terrible if smothered in ranch and slices hidden in a salad.

I think a rabbit ate all 4 of my hostas!

You can make pesto from the radish greens. We did that once and it was very good.
