The Old Folks Home

chris have a feeling :sick that you didn't enjoy your Reuben Sandwich. The sandwiches at Jason's Deli are either 3/4 pounders or 1/2 pound each. I just bag up half them the sandwich and split it into 2 more once I get home. Free soft serve too, I try to make at least 3 trips to the machine before I finish eating.
:p I did love it, it was huge and heavy, and with beer, it went down like ch8ubby kid pon a see-saw:lau.. Glad you like them too;)..

I have my meds(and supplements) on kitchen table - since I am sitting there so often stuffing my face, you would think I would remember. I just noticed(because I was snacking) that I didn't take my bedtime pills. It's 3:10 am - when I started with them I used to take at 11:30 pm. Things change

BTW what does smh mean?

smh = shaking my head.. Yes..:p Things do change, but not taking your meds "on time" might cause the wrong change, k? We need you healthy and well rested..:hugs Get some rest, have a good night Diva, have a restful and tranquil sleep.. :love:love

Oy, take your meds Diva, smh.. Put them on your dresser top or somewhere you can see them, k?.. Not good to forget them, and yes, you should take them with food if possible.. :):love

You could try setting an alarm to go off each day at med time, if not on a smart phone then an old-fashioned table top one. The more annoying the better.

BTW Chris, I checked and Jason's Deli is in Lakeland, and other Fl. cities. 3 kinds of free soft serve, vanilla, chocolate and swirl. My brother bragged his friend at work could manage to hold 3 cones(they are small) at one time. He is also a BIG man.

Ha, I came back with 4 cones in one hand and my brother called me a pig. See how men can be? Other male diners gave me dirty looks. Sexism running rampant.

I am small 4'11" but fluffy I should have punched them all in the knee. Better small than not at all.

Lol, I like small and fluffy (that's a good word "fluffy")..;) Four cones in one hand, for such a little girl that's a 'hand full'..

Lol, you sound feisty, I like that, you should of kicked some butt, my money is on you sweetie..:D I like to eat, and I like for whoever is with me to eat too..:) I take my two oldest grandsons out a lot.. They are both 11 yrs old, only six weeks apart.. Isaiah tells Matthew: We are safe, papa is a badass Marine, hahaha.. All my grandchildren call me papa..

Lol, I'll check Jason's Deli and let you know how it went, cool?

My fave ice cream is butter pecan, ummm... yummy.. :drool

2 nights ago, I made a huge pot of Spanish garbanzo bean soup. When it was done, I shoved it in the fridge. I was going to serve it the next night for supper. I did, and had quite a bit left, so was going to call my other daughter to come get some too, since she loves my Spanish garbanzo bean soup. Dd #1 heated it back up, and served it for lunch yesterday. Last night, I went in to cook, and everyone (except Dh. He doesn't like anything with beans) said they'd rather have more soup. We finished it off. Of course, we paired it with a loaf of good Cuban bread that I had buttered, and put in the oven to toast.

Morning everyone!

I'm working on my second cup of coffee here. Had a good night, thank goodness. Foot pain kept me tossing until the pain meds kicked in then it was lights out! till 7:30 this morning. 8 hours of uninterupted sleep is a good thing!

Agenda for today is what else? Work on firewood. They are calling for rain over the next 3 days so we need to get what's on the ground in the barn so we can split it during the wet spell.

I have to admit that I really enjoyed the cook out/pot luck last night. So good not to have to cook and interesting eating other women's recipes. Lot's of good summer salads, deviled eggs, summer fruits and grilled meats. They had been able to rent a shelter at the park that had an air conditioned building with a fridge in it so we could store our food and it wouldn't spoil. Since Field Day is a 24 hour affair and contest, some were staying all night.

I enjoy HAM radio but not THAT much! Especially when I'm one of the walking dead due to no sleep.
