Hubby did our weed eating today.

I hate when dh has to weed eat. It's just to darn hot! He get's so hot I worry he'll have a heat stroke.

We are now in 65 degree weather most days so going out to that have to wait a few for things to dry out they say we will by the end of the week

I bought a pair of black boots all places walmart but they have more room at the top so not a fight to put pant legs in and they fit like a glove

That's where I got mine too, Penny and gotta agree. Love the room at the top. Local Amish shop sells muck boots for 75$. Too rich for my blood just to get mucked up by mud and chicken poo.

It's still so hot outside here I can't stand to be out there more than a few minutes at a time. Even the birds are hot! They bathe in the mud puddle off and on all day.

Looks like summer like daytime temps here during the day until Sunday and there are storms forecast along with day times in the high 60s to low 70s. Nights here have been pleasant. High 50s low 60s. Things seem to be on schedule for Sept. temp wise. We still need rain though.

Just took leftover spaghetti out to the birds. Nothing livens up the coop like a game of spaghetti tag!

Some of our trees leaves are turning yellow and dropping.
Maybe we will get some cooler temps by the end of Oct. But not usually till after Christmas.

We have one bare tree here already but actually think it has died from old age...
Made pizza here Sausage and bacon but made a new Pesto from New Zealand Spinach,
cashews, Parmesan a few other things then freeze it no oil, Olive oil when it is used works great taste is perfect.. you can just see the pesto under the cheese

It is crazy how much boots and work clothes go for!

But if they are quality and last for years, definitely worth it. Calculate $/hours of use. Or, more likely, hours of use/$.
