The Old Folks Home

I was enjoying life too much yesterday at the doctor - and wore myself out being captivating even though it seemed effortless at the time. Conked out and slept leaving remnants of lunch??? on the table and pop that was totally lifeless but, still cold*

* thanks to me for turning off the heat for some unknown reason. 59F on the thermostat
it doesn't go lower. 37F outside.

I want to see that movie, Diva.

Got up earlyish today. It was supposed to start raining around 10. The neighbors were supposed to crush their trailer (on purpose, they're getting a new one) at 8. Dog and I walked by on our walk at 8, nothing happening. Neighbor texted me later saying they moved it to 945. Just so happened to be coming back from the dog walk at 940 and there was no action, but it was starting to rain. Dog is now passed out on the couch (we did a little over 4 miles) and I'm going to go sew.

I hope it was a good nap!

Just out of curiosity can any of you guys (any age) hop on one leg. I feel like such a failure:rolleyes:

Of course. Can you stand on your head ?

Still it was worth it :wee. Going to see "First Man" with Ryan Gosling at the show today., lunch out and a bit of shopping. :woot

We are going this afternoon. I'll check in on your 'Movie' thread this evening.

How could I stand on my head Sour, my head is UP here, and my legs are down THERE ?
Is this a trick question?

Besides if no video or photo - don't know if you really can hop on one leg.

No videos or photos as I am generally putting on undershorts while standing and hopping on one leg.

I woke up this morning ravenously hungry. This is after spending all day yesterday on the couch close to the bathroom not even able to think about food. Naturally this morning I had to take my first dose of Fosamax and had to sit here and watch the clock for 45 minutes. It said to wait 30 to 60 minutes drinking only water :sick:hit. At 45 minutes I proclaimed 'that's IT!' and grabbed my coffee and started cooking. Still feeling a big dragged out but immensely better than I did yesterday.

Diva, I use 'Bitter Apple' on all my plants to keep the cats from chowing down on them. I've gotten that stuff on my fingers and even had the mist hit my face and lips and I tell ya, that stuff is just plain nasty. It stays in your mouth and hands for what seems like forever and doesn't wash off regularly.

I highly recommend it for plant consumption deterrent and for nail biting.
