The Old Folks Home

I know many times over the years my work and my dogs kept me going
We have acquired quite allot have two incubators I do not use think maybe will post them on craigs list and on our Washington state thread
What type are they, Penny?

That's a cute picture, Cyn.

Ron, I'm hoping to be able to get my roosters processed. That's about it for outdoor work before winter. It's already snowed twice, so I think winter is almost here.
I hope you get to it! You can have nice chicken dinners in the cold of winter that way

My DW asked about growing vanilla here. It is quite expensive now and might be a fun thing to try. I have not looked into it yet though

I don't know anything about growing it either. I agree it is expensive.
If you do look it up don't forget to look for pests that might want it as much as you do. Lol

Got one of the wood drying/storage racks filled and moved onto the porch landing today. Plan is the wood goes directly from the rack into the house as needed instead of storing it on the porch as we have done to date - i.e. pre tractor capable of moving such a rack.
Picture from the door from the enclosed porch to the dining room. The stove is in the corner of the living room. Other than an arched opening wall, they are the same room.
Then a closeup with the outside door open

View from the outside. The door on the right is the one we use to get into the house. The parking area is behind where I took the picture from

The chickens aren't going to be pleased by this development, they like to hang out on the landing.
