The Old Folks Home

Ron we can't grow those here either.
But I am trying subtropical plants.
I hope they do well here. I guess I will need to put my banana tree in the ground next year if we want bananas.
I've been buying from Florida Hill nursery. So far they all look great.

Scg I am in the same boat here two rooms packed with stuff that needs to go in the shed. But the mice and rats get in there. So I pick most in totes and store them under my 4x8 cutting table. I just donated a ton of clothes. Working on cleaning out closets.
Trying g to get my fall house cleaning done before dh had his surgery.
My DW asked about growing vanilla here. It is quite expensive now and might be a fun thing to try. I have not looked into it yet though

First day of vacation for me... went to the registry of deeds trying to find some historical info for my cemetery stuff. Came home and started dinner in the slow cooker, did some spackling then painting over some cracks that keep coming back when the house settles. Rained like crazy today, and I got some cleaning done. Got one "spare" room cleaned out and consolidated with the other "spare" guest room. Vacuumed and mopped it.

Funny how we collect so much stuff, but we don't touch most of it. Got a couple things put on Craigslist, hoping they go soon.
I hope you can get outside stuff done during the vacation

DH got the EEG done today. Poor guy was up at 3 in the morning, actually stayed awake until 8 for the appt. like he was supposed to. By the time we were done with that and other things after, he was ready for that nap. Me too. Remember, I have a pup I take out a few times a night. Man this little guy is smart. He knows exactly why he is going out there now. :) Ok, asked DH if I could share this photo I took of him while she was putting leads on him. He laughed..said..I guess. He's a good sport. Cute man of mine.
