The Old Folks Home

Dh walked nearly 1/2 a mile to the mail box and back yesterday. He's doing great!
Is he in less pain then before the surgery? Are the nerves functioning better?

The replacement seems much faster than fusion

The feed lot across the street had a building catch fire two day ago. I was talking to my daughter on the porch and saw it start. I called the owner and had dh tell them the building was on fire. A car pulled over at the same time I saw it start. I figured they were calling 911 so we called the livestock auction house to notify the owner.
They got her quick but the fire Dept took 15 minutes. And they only have a water truck. By the time they were out of water another fire truck arrive then 3 more. finally fire truck that had a hose to hook to a hydrant and they got it under control. But not out. It finished burning to the ground. But lucky it did not spread to the 2 hay barns.
Yesterday they were burying the whole mess. They did save a tractor and a mixer. They are still cleaning it up to rebuild today.
that is terrible!

Good thing they kept it to the one building. We had a hay storage place burn this Fall between Woodland and Davis. The smoke from it was bad too. It burnt for more than a week. There was a lot of hay!

They are fortunate they did not loose more... good morning glad to hear you husband is doing so much better than the surgery was helpful?

Thanks @chickadoodles, I was just about to ask how hubby was doing! Sounds like he is doing great. So happy for him, and yes, you too. Miust be a load off your mind.

Ron, a half an inch since May? Gaaaaaah! That is terrible and here I thought we were dry..

Just went out to check my hen. She was standing asleep with her head tucked under her wing and her little wings drooping. I don't know what she has going on but the poor baby looks miserable. On a good note, she gobbled down all three egg yolks I had scrambled for her. I'll take more out for her tonight. I'm afraid to dose her with anything else right now until her body has a chance to recover from the SafeGuard treatment and now the antibiotic. Time will tell.
