Hi guys....Miss me? Tee hee.

Needed to give myself time to grieve and the hole in my heart to heal. Feeling better now and wanted to stop by to see how everyone was.

SSDD here. Only our diabetic elderly kitty seemed to think it would be fun to get sick. Still don't know what happened to him. Three days of barfing, not eating and hiding. He started to eat again yesterday. Guess he got tired of us smearing his feet full of petroleum jelly.

On a brighter note....not.....my steroid shot is worn off. Just gave me time to get tied throws done for Christmas gifts. Gonna have to ask doc for a take home pack next year about Halloween time. Two months should get me through the holiday projects.

It is good to take a break sometimes

What nothing! You got up earlier than DD1 and her BF. They baked all afternoon and into the evening yesterday. They've been up maybe a whole half hour.

I had a pleasant surprise a few days ago. Somebody presented me with these beautiful pastel green eggs. I suspect it was my Fayoumi hen, Farrah.

No. Medium sized egg. Lots larger than the mixes or the bantams. She started laying late fall, took a break and then started again laying these pastel green eggs.

I thought that breed was supposed to lay white? Or is she a mix?

When you get the plow, make sure to tell the boys they aren't allowed to use it. You might get them to do it a few times before they figure out it is their new job.

Yeah... I am worried about that.

I have some small car tire chains somewhere... need to find them, see if they fit the wheeler.

Other option... youngest son could steer, oldest 2 could push the wheeler.

Nope, she is purebred from MMcM hatchery. Friend got her as a surprise chick and didn't want her...knew I wanted Fayoumis so he gave her to us.

Breed description says they can lay tinted pastel eggs so maybe this falls under that variant.

IS is true that Fayoumi have high resistance to Mareks? I sure hope so.
