I hope the mareks woes get under control at your place!Yes, that is true about the Fayoumis' being Marek's resistant, Which is why I'm trying to get a half dozen to interbreed with my Amish bantam cross girls and larger boys. She is a lot taller than I expected her to be but a really beautiful hen with a light bodied raptor look about her. I'll try to get a pic of her tonight.
The friend who gave her to us is going to order more for me this spring. I think he orders his birds for June delivery. I'm hoping for 3 more hens and 2 roosters. When he orders his birds he will add mine to the order and I told him I'd split shipping fees with him. He said he gets good service from his local PO.
Pick a favorite ornament. ALL my ornaments are favorites. Every ornament I have is special to me but the very favorite is probably my hunting Santa which is santa in camo hunting gear with a red hunting hat, vest and a shotgun slung over his shoulder and shell bag on his belt. The only thing missing is one of the reindeer as a hunting dog.
Thanks for the update!Hi everyone. I hope ya'll are ready for the season.
