The Old Folks Home

Happy Friday everyone! It's a sunny 44 degrees here and feels very un-Januaryish. The bantams are out happily squishing around their run, the old Welly and Buff O girls are standing on the edge of their coop door looking out at the mud and saying 'No! Can't make us go out there' even if the rooster is out calling to them and the 6 month old cockerels are pacing their fence line whining 'LET US OUT! We'll be good. We prom....oh look a hen c'mere cutie and let me show you my etchings..'

Plans for today are to take a walk....that's it so far. Continue to feel better. Rheumy appt on Monday, HAM radio club meeting coming up. I plan to wear a mask through it. DH asked me if I really intended to do that and I said Yep...then told him I could sit there with my mask on and make faces at the officers and they would never know...I think he's interested in a mask of his own now, LOL.
:lau

have fun! It is good to hear that you are on the mend

Thanks guys. I am. DH and I just got back from a walk in the timber. Actually more of a slip slid walk slop. It's in the low 50s so all the frozen ground that happened after the last rain is thawing into muck. Still had a great walk even though my energy levels are still down.

And.....our friend got in touch with me today. He's ordering chicks and I have 6 more Fayoumi's coming April 1:celebrate.Spring!

Perhaps it's time for new officers?
