I missed it, but it's roast turkey Saturday here! 21 pounder, Should be ready ~3pm. Gonna have lots of turkey over the coming days.





When I was a child, my mom always liked cottage cheese with chive on either ritz crackers or saltines. I seem to recall that I liked it then, but I never eat it now... Not sure why. I also used to really like a combo of jelly and honey on ritz or saltines.

The pizza was very good!

Tonight is scalloped potatoes. I need to start it a 3pm because is bakes for quite a while

Hamburgers along with onion rings for me and sweet potato fries for DH here tonight. Tapioca pudding for desert.

It was beautiful here today. Up to 57 so I guess this qualifies as our January thaw....no snow to thaw but plenty o'mud to go around. Two of the older roosters started to go at it this afternoon. They were both covered with mud when I found them. Guess they think it's spring. Man are they in for a rude awakening. It's a shame they can't read calendars.

Did not get a chance to see the movie today, it was at inconvenient times, like while I was awake.

Didn't get the quilt on the frame, either, but did walk 4 miles with the dog so it wasn't a total bust.

I also hope to avoid the movie tomorrow but I hope to get the quilt on the frame.

I tried to be on my least worst behavior.

You did very well then! Your sense of humor held throughout. We all appreciated spending time with you and would jump at the chance to do it again.

...However, it was clearly missing something that would make it complete.

Is that the "let down" goat? And is "let down Mama" the same as Crazy Neighbor Lady?

Then there is the final operator upgrade that is staring me in the face.

Just think, you will be able to talk in Morse Code and very few will be able to understand it. Though a conversation like "dot dot.......dot dash dash.......dot dash.......dash dot......dash" between 2 people will likely have anyone nearby inching away from "those crazy people"

Took an exciting trip to Bed Bath and Beyond today on the way to Mt. Allison to get DD a curtain for her shower, a bath mat and a body bath scrubber thing. Yep real exciting. Then got to the school, got her key card and unloaded. She put most of the stuff away and we went to the grocery store for a few things. And with some effort managed to get money transferred to her new Canadian account. It is done on the phone but the lady had to set up a "template" which took some time.

DW and I are currently at a B&B in Cocagne outside Moncton. Heading back to Maine tomorrow then back home Monday. Today is DW's 57th BDay.
